Princess Eugenie's birthday bowling

Britain's Princess Eugenie celebrated her 20th birthday with a game of bowling.
The princess - the daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York - hired out a £4,000 room at the All Star Lanes bowling alley in London on Monday night (22.03.10) where she celebrated the end of her teenage years with 50 of her friends and family.
The princess ate and drank American food before trying her hand at a game of bowling, using special luminescent balls.
A source told the Daily Mail newspaper: "They had great fun. Eugenie, her sister Beatrice and their friends were all in fifties clothes. They drank mojitos and ate mini-burgers, hot-dogs and other American fare - and Andrew turned out to be a dab hand at the bowling."
Last night (23.03.10), the royal spent her actual birthday at a party for the Elephant Parade charity with her mother.
The princess - who was escorted to both parties with her bodyguards - recently found herself in the middle of a debate about whether the round-the-clock protection she receives, at the taxpayer's expense, is really necessary.
A former top policeman, Dai Davies said: "I am not aware of any evidence of any threat to Princess Eugenie. If there isn't a threat, it would appear to be a pointless exercise. It's difficult to see the justification in security terms for providing such protection 24/7."
