Alexander Wang launches new sunglasses at Opening Ceremony
With the amount of heat surrounding designer Alexander Wang it’s not surprising that he fits so easily into the Los Angeles social scene.
While attention is focussed on the sequins and silicone of the city's awards season, Wang slipped into L.A to celebrate his new eyewear collaboration with Linda Farrow at Opening Ceremony.
The tone of the friends and family affair was set by Opening Cermony’s owner Humberto Leon who begged his mother to cook the 12-course Chinese feast for guests and Jason Schwartzman, Spike Jonze, Ali Larter, Gia Coppola, Erin Wasson, Samantha Traina and budding Hollywood royalty Riley Keough (Elvis Presley’s granddaughter) and Dakota Johnson (daughter of Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson).
The presence of M.I.A had the room buzzing, arriving in the designer’s leather shorts and leopard-print satchel. It looks as though Wasson may have to make room fo the singer as Wang's muse.
